AccuWork™ tightly integrates issue tracking with AccuRev®, simplifying the process of change request or task-based management for geographically distributed, Agile and parallel software development. AccuWork and its native change package functionality provide the optimal integration point into the full-featured AccuRev software configuration management tool. Additionally, available out-of-the-box integrations between AccuRev and industry-leading issue tracking packages through the AccuBridge SDK provide optimal flexibility.

AccuWork Issue Tracking

AccuWork is a tightly integrated issue tracking system built on the same TimeSafe platform as the AccuRev software configuration management tool. AccuWork facilitates teamwork among users and teams, providing the ideal platform for managing all software development issues, defects, and enhancements.

AccuWork is fully integrated with AccuRev SCM functionality, including change packages. This bidirectional integration provides the ability to compare releases by issue. AccuWork also provides powerful workflow and process automation, searching and reporting tools, and comprehensive customization, all in a simple-to-learn, user-friendly interface. Issues can be viewed directly in the AccuRev StreamBrowser™,and releases can be compared by issue. Integrating SCM and issue tracking within a single tool significantly reduces training, customization, licensing, and maintenance costs.

AccuWork is licensed and bundled with AccuRev software. AccuWork may also be licensed on a stand-alone basis for users who require access to only the issue tracking system.

With AccuRev, all issues can be grouped into change packages, providing bidirectional integration with the SCM tool. Issues can be included, removed, tracked, and recorded by group or change package, not just by file.

Fully Integrated Issue Tracking

AccuWork is fully integrated into AccuRev, simplifying the process for change request or task-based management and enabling developers to respond to issues reported by both internal and external sources. Developers simply click on the AccuWork icon located in the AccuRev toolbar to initiate their issue tracking system. With AccuWork, all changes are also seamlessly tracked and grouped at the change level, not the file level.

Security and Compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley)

AccuWork uses the underlying AccuRev TimeSafe database to securely record all issue data. The TimeSafe architecture enables truly atomic, transaction-based changes, allowing issues to be tracked by time, date, priority, developer, etc. The past is always easily reproduced and may not be modified, ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley requirement of being able to reproduce any build at any time.

Easy to Install, Customize, and Use

Issue tracking solutions are supposed to save you time and, ultimately, money. The software works out of the box with minimal customization. You will be up and running in hours, not days or weeks. AccuWork is easy to use with its graphical and visual representation of the issues. Customization is as easy as point-and-click and can be done on the fly as a work in progress.
